Title: Integrations Business Systems Analyst

Location   : Boston, MA

Duration : at least 6 months with extensions to the end of 2017

MOI : F2F

 

Important Skills

                Tech – technical BSA, Learning Management Systems

                Soft – ability to dig for details and understand how back end integrations work

 

 

Must Haves :

Mid-Senior level BA with strong documentation skills, ideally out of an Educational industry

User stories and use case diagrams

LMS experience

Integration experience

JIRA

Agile

Technical background

 

Plus :

Ed Tech Industry experience

Subject Matter Expert in k-12 programs

Experience with OneRoster or Scorm

 

Day to day :

This Technical Product Analyst (BSA) will be responsible for ensuring the data can pass back and forth across all their products and platforms. The majority of this role will revolve around documentation – they will work with requirements and document to standardize their practice around integration. They will articulate, document and communicate, write stories, present stories (once every other week), move code to production and participate in minimal UAT.

 

Title: Integration Technical Product Analyst

 

Under the guidance of the TPMs over integrations, this role will have responsibility over the following key areas:

 

1.      Assist in developing and taking user story details through to teams under the guidance of TPM team (i.e. acceptance criteria, detailed exception cases) – 35%

2.      End to end use case diagrams and matrices to enable operationalizing of integration solutions and overall documentation to eliminate time spent on each integration – 25%

3.      Intake processes development and documentation: Solicitation and documentation of requirements pre-team.  Development of repeatable processes  - 20%

4.      Data Analysis – 10%

5.      Support for Integration Solution team (documentation, end to end solution diagrams) – 10%

 

Competencies and Skills

·         Experience working on system integration projects

·         Experience with JIRA or similar Agile project tracking software

·         Strong analytical skills in analyzing complex problems, processes, data sets and systems to propose solutions

·         Experience working in an Agile software development environment

·         Extensive experience documenting requirements

·         Ability to document data and process flows

·         Excellent written/verbal communication skills

·         Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and technology

·         Knowledge of SSO protocols and industry standards such as LTI, OneRoster,  Scorm a plus
