High-level Scope Details:
· The Statit e-Server and Custom QC (desktop) software is written in C++ as 32-bit applications. The build environment is Visual C++ 6.0 SP6. This environment has been obsolete for a long time and only installs on a Windows XP or older workstation. In addition to the Statit C++ source code there are several required 3rd party and open source libraries.
· Target 64 bit architecture. This is desired in order to increase the addressable memory (Statit workspace) as well as for interoperability with 64 bit applications and libraries.
· Localization for 16 bit languages (Chinese) as well as monetary, date, and time locale formatting.
· Statit utilizes numerous 3rd party libraries which must also be upgraded in order to complete this project. Some of the libraries are still commercially available; however, some adaptation will still be necessary to accommodate 10 years of evolution. Royalties are likely required on these current libraries.
