Position: Business System Analyst

Location: Torrance, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Requisition Detail:-

• Gathers, refines, and validates complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks and issues.
  
• Analyzes business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.
  
• Assists in the business process redesign or redesign and documentation as needed.
  
• Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to such specifications.
  
• Facilitates communication and gains commitment between business units to align solutions with business strategies.
  
• Develops complex business cases.
  
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member, at times as a project leader.
  
• May coach and mentor less experienced staff.
  
• Assists with facilitating project governance and corporate priorities.
  

Wants:-

• Experience with Waterfall and Agile deliverables.
  
• 5 years or more as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with Automotive industry and/or Telematics experience.
  
• Hands-on knowledge of custom Internet application development, information architecture, user experience, mobility, and services-based architecture.
  
• Senior problem-solver.
  
• Seasoned veteran in business and systems analysis methodology and deliverables.
  
• Multiple successful end-to-end deliveries from Scope through Implementation/Warranty, including maintenance.
  
• Experience working in a dynamic, highly fluid, technically challenging environment.
