Skills

• Must have worked on an assignment which involves setup and implementation of Documentum.

• Should be able to assess the current Documentum set up along with providing architectural & design suggestions that can make current/migrated set up more robust.

• Must have worked on setting up a seamless Disaster recovery setup (BCP) with live production replication and should be able to implement the same in an migration & setup scenario.

• Well versed on how to migrate content (documents & metadata) in a phased manner (cabinet/integrating service) from one Documentum version to other without impacting any of the existing environments, should be able to judge the impact and risk the suggested approach may involve.

• Strong understanding of various Documentum out of box content migration strategies like (Dump & Load) and awareness of third party or EMC in house Documentum migration tools will be good.

• Should have strong understanding on how to utilize out-of-the-box Documentum services & different ways to assimilate which can be used to integrate Documentum with other systems.

• Should have hands on knowledge of XCP and custom workflows to understand the current set up and assess the best possible implementation or update on migration.

• Should be able to understand the current set up, integrated landscape of application and be able to provide proper size and estimate migration activities – Must to have

 

Required Experience

• Knowledge and hands on experience of Documentum version upgrade is a must, preferably 6.7 to 7.2

• Good to have if the candidate has worked on a project which involves replacing an existing ECM implementation with Documentum.

• Knowledge for performance tuning of Documentum platform is desirable.

• Should have a proper understanding on Documentum internal tables (DQLs) and be in a position to validate the link between the internal and client custom tables for proper decoupling and migration.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for Solution, Estimation.

• Solution Proposition to Clients.

• Build client relationships in existing accounts.

• Review Statement of Work

• Drive Solution / Framework Creation initiatives for customer.

• Provide Architecture Guidelines, Integration roadmap and Governance to all Integration projects in the organization.

 

Relevant Experience:
