Tableau Senior Developer

Jacksonville, FL

6-12 Months

 

Max rate i have is $47/hr , also i need passport copy for h1b consultants, please don't send me the profiles if you're not comfortable to share

 

Technical/Functional Skills        

 

• Minimum 7+ years' experience in IT and business intelligence.

• Must have 4+ years of experience with data analysis, data visualization, and reporting technologies including Tableau 8 and other reporting tools

• Strong knowledge in data warehousing concepts.

• Ability to design, code and unit test complex Tableau dashboard visualization workbook files.

• Tableau certified developer a plus.

• Strong SQL query-writing ability Strong Report Development Reporting Tools experience desired

• Oracle, IBM Db2, Sql Server database experience preferred

• Strong current working knowledge of data concepts and designs Ability to read and understand data structures

• Strong data quality mindset and discipline Ability to perform and document report dashboard unit QA testing.

• Professional verbal and written communication skills.  Work on multiple, concurrent tasks.  Work well with a variety of teams and upstream data providers to provide responsive and quality support.  Work within formal Change Management methodologies and excellent documentation skills

 

Preferred:

•Experience in Health Care.

 

Roles & Responsibilities :           

 

• Developing, Designing and supporting interactive Tableau Dashboard reports

• Recommending Dashboards per Tableau visualization features.

• Delivering reports to Business team on timely manner.

• Extensive experience working with Business Intelligence data visualization tools with specialization on Tableau.

• Drew upon full range of Tableau platform technologies to design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualizations.

• Designed multiple Dashboards for end to end tracking, helping them to convert from manual reporting

• Interact with Business users and understanding their requirements.

• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

• In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle

• Proficiency programming in more than one object oriented programming language

• Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio

• Proficiency using debugging tools

• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy

 

Preferred:

• Experience using Agile methodology

• Specific tools, languages and specialty skills may vary

• Relevant Development certifications
