Required Skills:               

•         ASAP start - do not submit candidates that require a notice period.

•         Eight (8) years of experience testing, developing or maintaining large web based transaction processing systems

•         Expertise with methods and techniques, including white box, black box, and usability testing

•         Experience and expertise using Functional Testing tool - Selinium is preferred

•         Experience using a Defect Management tool – JIRA is preferred

•         Expert writing skills and 3 years of working experience in writing test scenarios

•         Working experience in conducting accessibility testing

•         Must have a Baccalaureate-level degree in relevant technical specialty, such as computer science, management information systems, computer engineering, software

engineering OR certification in software testing disciplines, such as IIST Certified Software Test Professional

Preferred Skills:

•         Prefer working knowledge/experience of Security Testing tools such as Rational AppScan and Fortify 360

•         Prefer knowledge/experience of Penetration Testing tool such as Nessus

•         Prefer Working experience of SQL database scripting using Oracle technology

 

Responsibilities:

·         Functions as an expert tester for application testing activities in one or more technical areas of the application

·         Reviews and analyzes change requests to determine the scope of work and estimate the level of effort for testing application changes. Writes detailed test work plans, test scenarios and test scripts based on business requirements and high level designs

·         Schedules, coordinates and conducts test execution, including automated regression test suites

·         Creates test data and executes test scripts. Tracks actual vs. expected results, and evaluates quality of code changes. Documents results of testing activities, including creating and reporting test-discovered defects

•         Designs, develops, executes, and maintains automated regression testing scripts

•         Follows configuration control procedures over application source libraries at pre-release levels

·         Maintains direct knowledge of and applies all applications testing technical processes, procedures, guidelines and quality standards

·         Provides the Test Manager with accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies

•         Provides guidance to junior-level test analysts assigned to testing process

•         Assists the Test Manager in preparing test plans, budgets, and schedules
