·         Modules - Vendor: Oracle Modules: Oracle Financials including Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets, Payables (AP), General Ledger (GL), iExpense, and Accounts Receivable (AR), E-Tax, Approvals Management (AME)

·         Must have Oracle R12 Migration exp

 

Requirement

The job description below applies to one open position located in Boston, Massachusetts.

 

Role Overview

·         The Business Analyst required for this position will work closely with Finance and Technology departments on various Oracle modules noted below

·         They will represent the functional needs of Finance ensuring business needs are planned into the future solution

·         Responsible for the requirements, testing, implementation and training aspects of assigned sub ledgers

·         Development of business process flows and procedures required to operate the solution in partnership with the business

·         Data conversion mapping and testing. Assist business with production deployment

 

Skills Overview

·         Well-versed on Oracle terminology and methodologies

·         Able to be flexible to support other functional areas in addition to Oracle applications

·         Detailed knowledge of Oracle EBS 11i and R12 and proven track record in upgrade projects

·         Experience of writing detailed business solutions, specifications and data mapping and conversions

·         Experience working with business process owners and end-users to establish sufficient levels of detailed requirements as well as creating test plans

·         Supports project management in preparing project plans, periodic status reports and other project artefacts

·         Experience with Oracle Discoverer, standard reporting modules, and using Oracle's BI tools

·         Ability to comprehend and analyze complex issues and pay attention to details

·         Ability to multi-task and efficiently prioritize

·         Partner with the business and project team in planning and executing tests

·         Engage with training team to support training plan and delivery

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact across multiple levels of the team across time zones/countries – IT, Finance, Trainers, and end users

·         Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

·         Confidently organize and facilitate meetings and conference calls

·         Detail oriented with strong analytical and thinking skills.

·         Proven flexibility and adaptability in changing priorities.

·         Ability to work on sub ledger conversions and reconcilements

 

Global Organization

·         Ability to work with distributed team in multiple time zones

·         Ensure solutions meet local requirements while maintaining consistency with global standards

·         Willingness to travel

 

Industry

·         Understanding of the Financial Services and banking industries preferred

 

Education

·         Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, technology or equivalent preferred.

 

Languages

·         Advantage to have working knowledge of any of the following languages: German, Italian, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean

 

Preferred Software Knowledge

·         Vendor: Oracle Modules: Oracle Financials including Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets, Payables (AP), General Ledger (GL), iExpense, and Accounts Receivable (AR), E-Tax, Approvals Management (AME)

·         Vendor : Kofax MarkView or similar imaging and scanning solutions, Work Flow

·         Understanding of SQL and SQL*Loader, and TOAD tools a plus

 

Software Knowledge for Daily Duties

·         Strong Microsoft Office skills on Windows including: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project

·         VISIO or similar skills preferred.
