Required Skills:
4+ years' experience developing web base applications using Java,J2EE.
Preferred Skills:
Technologies: Java, J2EE, JSP, Java Script, jQuery CSS, HTML, Tomcat, Oracle
Involved in global, geographically dispersed project
Ability to work independently with limited supervision, write code following the team's guidelines
Ability to interpret specifications taking context and intent into account
Ability to track and report work in a concise and clear manner
Critical reasoning skills, decision making skills and conflict resolution
Good mentoring and communication skills.
Working knowledge with Portals, experience with Liferay Enterprise Portal 6.2 will be a plus.
Web-Services: REST/SOAP
Tools: IntelliJ,
Familiar with all levels of software development.
Flawless application coding skills with respect to requirements and functionality.
Strong knowledge and good experience on non-functional areas like reliability and performance.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Deliverables:
As a Senior Java/J2EE Developer on the team you will be responsible to deliver high quality code, collaborate with client and teams in feature planning, design discussions and tasks planning.
Develop and maintain Java code for a Liferay-based portal.
Develop solutions to complex challenges in a Liferay-based portal with numerous API integrations.
You will be responsible for feature and workflow implementations with high level of quality and coding standards.
