Position: Door Engineer
Location: Norwood, MA
Duration: 3+Months
Any visa fine prefer GC, USC
Job Description:
• Manage DOORS template modules with consistent sets of attributes and views for requirements and test development.
• Modify or create DXL scripts to create specialty reports such as for traceability and metrics. (DXL is the DOORS language)
• Access / privilege management and coordination of rights for users
• Create custom Views
• On need generate reports/documents -requirement traceability, compliance etc.
• Import existing documents into DOORS (e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PDF).
• Create plugin for MS TFS system used by software team
1. Import DIR (containing user needs, business needs and Design Input requirements)
a. Engineer will import the DIR using the designated POC templates
b. Engineer will Link Design Input requirements to User needs
c. Engineer will Link Design Input requirements to Business needs
d. Optionally the engineer may create, modify, or delete requirements at this level
e. Engineer will create a Trace report to ensure that all needs and requirements are linked properly and that there are no orphans
f. Engineer will create a DIR report (external output file) which can be added to the POC Doc Control system (via ECN process)
2. Import SRS
a. Engineer will import the SRS using the designated POC template
b. Engineer will Link system requirements to Design Input requirements
c. Optionally the engineer may create, modify, or delete requirements at this level
d. Engineer will create a Trace report to ensure that all requirements are linked properly and that there are no orphans
e. Engineer will create a SRS report (external output file) which can be added to the POC Doc Control system (via ECN process)
3. Import sub systems specs
a. Engineer will import the Sub-system specs using the designated POC template
b. Engineer will Link sub-system requirements to system requirements
c. Optionally the engineer may create, modify, or delete requirements at this level
d. Engineer will create a Trace report to ensure that all requirements are linked properly and that there are no orphans
e. Engineer will create a Sub-system report (external output file) which can be added to the POC Doc Control system (via ECN process)
4. Import Template for Test results
a. Engineer will import the blank Test result template to represent the test protocols that will be used
b. Engineer will Link test results/protocol to the associated specification at the different levels
c. Optionally the engineer may create, modify, or delete test result template items at this level
d. Engineer will create a Trace report to ensure testing coverage
5. Import Test results
a. Engineer will import the Test results using the designated POC template
b. Optionally the engineer may create, modify, or delete test results at this level
c. Engineer will create a Trace report to ensure that all test protocols have results associated with them
d. Engineer will create a Test Result report (external output file) which can be added to the POC Doc Control system (via ECN process)
