NOTE: NEED ONLY EAD, GC, EAD-GC, USC ONLY ----NO H1B

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

1) Selenium - 75% of this role will include automating user stories with this tool

2) Agile Environment - experience working in an agile environment across collaborative teams

3) Manual Testing experience with JIRA - 25% will include experience using project management tool for defect tracking

 

Job Description:

 

The role of a QA Analyst II is to implement best practice testing techniques and perform testing as part of the software development life cycle.

The Analyst should have In-depth knowledge of generally accepted testing practices as well as testing and development processes.

The analyst plans and tests all software changes to ensure that products conform to the desired quality standard. The analyst is accountable for defects and ensuring that software changes are client ready

 

Essential Job Functions:

Develops and executes manual testing scripts based on software requirements Identifies, logs, and tracks defects Provides reporting on defect tracking and escalates issues as needed Supports and adheres to testing standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent testing procedures Follows standards in accordance with company policy REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant equivalent experience required Three + years of software testing experience required.

Eye for detail

Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as negotiation skills In-depth understanding of the various testing concepts (e.g. functional, usability, regression) Knowledge of waterfall and agile concepts Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to write detailed test cases Strong Manual testing skills.

Automation testing skills a plus.

Ability to adapt to change (flexible)

Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously Experience with Quality Center Experience with QTP a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Office
