JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Role name  Project Leader

Role Description –

Lead the DataStage Developers and Implementation team, Should be an expert in DataStage - Hands on experience with IIS Data Stage 8.5(or higher) including Parallel, Sequencers. Knowledge on JCL is an added Plus. - Should have used all the important stages in Data Stage and understand them well. - Define strategies / processes in managing DS components / environment, Define best practices in DS usage within the enterprise - Triage DS platform related issues, Work with different teams within the enterprise as part of the issue resolution process - Lead discussions with new projects, Will be involved in solutioning - Has worked in a direct client facing role with multiple stakeholders Job Level Specific Duties: -Interact with Business users and analysts in gathering the requirements -Analyze, design, develop and implement new applications and solutions -Participate in project meetings with all the stake holders -Identify opportunities for performance improvements and implement the same -Develop and use the reusable tools -Groom and Contribute towards all round growth of the junior associates

 

Competencies  IBM Data Management

Experience (Years)  8-10

Essential Skills 

IBM DataStage and MS SQL Server Expert • Excellent hands on skills as an IBM DataStage development. - Should have good MS Server - PLSQL skills. - Very good troubleshooting and query analysis / tuning skills.
