Position: .Net Developer
Location: Providence, RI
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities:
Participates as a member of development team or teams; may lead a small development team
Designs units for others; completes development to implement complex components
Contributes to design activities; may design solutions.
Develops independently; participates in code reviews and may lead code reviews; may lead and provide mentoring and guidance to less senior developers
Designs, prepares and executes unit tests
Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas (e.g. Web-site Development)
Applies HPE and 3rd party technologies to complex software solutions of moderate complexity
Independently implements end-user or enterprise solutions complexity or services prepared by more senior technologists for more complex solutions
Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for clients
Consults with team members and other organizations, clients and vendors on complex issues
Skills Required (provide specific details around tools, client environment, certifications needed, etc):
MUST HAVE
Required Skills:
9 years' experience writing code using .Net
Experience with Agile Scrum
Advanced ability to work with Web-development tools for new applications
Advanced understanding of SQL
Advanced understanding of modern software design and development methodologies (e.g., Object Oriented)
Advanced understanding of modern SCM (Software Configuration Management)
Advanced understanding of testing tools, unit testing, integration test scripting, and testing methodologies
Advanced experience using an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio) and development of tool add-ins
Strong understanding of basic database administration
Able to define quality and security standards
Exceptional verbal and written communication with clients and technical staff in English
General project management and team leader skills
Ability to work effectively in a globally dispersed team including client and vendor/supplier resources
Demonstrated technical leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in area of specialty
Optional Skills:
Department of Motor Vehicle domain knowledge / expertise is a plus
