Position: UI/UX Architect

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 1 Month.

Description:

One of the items we are considering in our environment, big JavaScript program, is to possibly bring someone in that can rip our code up and look at it from an outside perspective.

1.JavaScript. The individual should know how to program/develop, read, and troubleshoot JavaScript. Must be an expert
2.Experience with Ractive is a positive. RequireJS, Templating (handlebars, etc)
3.Engineering/architecture. Has designed large scale javascript systems prior.
4.Client side. Understands the impacts of the code running at the client and how to architect accordingly.
a.Use of Browser tools (Chrome Dev Toolkit, IE Dev Tools, Firefox FireBug) to:
i.Find performance issues
ii.Profile JavaScript behavior
iii.Identify running threads within JavaScript
iv.Garbage collection and impacts.

The individual should be able to take control of a room and work through existing code to recommend changes and help prototype the changes as well.
