Key Responsibilities
· Provide project leadership to ensure successful implementation of the ICDA project:
· Responsible for overall project scope and objectives. Oversees planning, management and implementation activities of the project. Collaborates with work stream leads to define project scope and activities.
· Leads and collaborates with IT, Data Governance, Organization Change Management and Functional Team Lead to deliver all key projects deliverables, including and not limited to & integrated project plan across work streams, business process design deliverables, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) deliverables (requirements documentation, design specifications, test plans, test results, implementation plan), Organization Change Management Plan deliverables (Communications Plan, Training Plan, etc) , Data Governance deliverables and transition plan to steady state.
· Develop relationships with business stakeholders including but not limited to Customer Operations, Operations Research and Customer Solutions to ensure successful implementation and support for their needs and requirements.
· Manage overarching project scope, schedule, risk, issues and change requests.
· Provide period project status to Steering Committee and upper management.
· Provide direction in design/delivery of customer analytics capabilities to achieve ICDA business objectives:
· Work collaboratively with data analytics experts and business analysts, support the development of relevant/impactful business insights that are generated by the data analytics tools.
· Define and gain agreement with respective business units on scope, objectives and benefits of business unit improvement initiatives based on the analytics driven business insights identified.
· Create strategies, implementation plans and capital business cases to address future current and future business intelligence needs of the enterprise.
· Proactively manage and monitor business user adoption and training on new ICDA systems and processes to elevate analytics maturity level of the organizations.
· Identify metrics for analytics system adoption and competency development. Monitor metrics and provide continuous improvement recommendations.
· Ensure analytics support processes are fully implemented before rollout of analytics system enhancements and/or new process capabilities to business analyst users
· Support opportunities to improve business users' belief in the data by working with other workstream leads on issues identified
Skills
• Proven experience leading multi-phased cross functional projects with multiple work streams at a Project Manager and Integrator capacity.
• Must have solid understanding of IT project lifecycle methodologies, data governance, and organization change management.
• Must have strong written and oral communications skills with ability to influence others (e.g., gain adoption of use cases and corresponding business value, overcome resistance to change, data governance advocate) to move toward consensus
• Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills and able to frame business problems, their respective root causes with associated data analytics solutions. Proven experience in business analysis and business requirements gathering with an emphasis on project management.
• Must have strong customer focus with excellent teamwork skills and committed to meeting deliverable/schedule deadlines
• Experience with data analytics projects, processes, frameworks and tools highly desirable, including but not limited to data governance, descriptive analytics, predictive analytics and prescriptive analytics, self-service BI (SAP Business Objects) highly desirable
• Proficiency and demonstrated experience with key customer management functional areas (e.g., Customer Operations, Customer Solutions/Programs, Customer Experience, Customer Research) is highly desirable
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Operations Research, Quantitative Social Sciences, Management Science or Market Sciences or relevant equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years working as a Project Manager implementing requirements for large scale technology projects
• Experience/knowledge of quantitative methods is highly desirable ( e.g., Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Management Science, Decision Sciences, Economics, Econometrics, etc.)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in performing analysis and high-level design for data management projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, customer operations, and/or customer analytics.
• Minimum 3 years of business process reengineering and optimization projects
• Project Management Certification is highly desirable
