Duration: Long term contract

1. Required Technical Skill Set:

• Map Reduce, Java, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Hbase, Linux
  

2. Must-Have Skills:

• Hadoop Architecture
  
• Hortonworks Distribution
  
• Map reduce program understanding
  
• Hive Query Language with performance optimization skill
  
• Pig, Sqoop, Hbase
  
• Java Debugging Knowledge 
  
• Linux Shell Scripting
  

3. Good to Have:

• Kafka
  
• Storm
  
• Accumblo
  
• Shark and Spark
  
• Data warehouse & Telecom understanding
  
• 
  

4. Responsibility of/Expectations from the Role:

• Manage the operation of a Hortonworks Cluster of around 450 + nodes and also manage the other lower environments.
  
• Admin, Install & Build of Cluster as required
  
• Handling user tickets related to cluster issue
  
• Performance Improvement of user's queries
  
• Cluster Outage management during crisis
