Title: Agile Coach PM

Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ (Preferred) /St, Louis, Missouri / Bloomington, MN

Duration: Long Term

Start date: Immediate

 

Must Have skills:

·         Agile COACH expert

·         Project/Program Management certifications - PMI-ACP, CSP, SPC4 (Mandate)

·         CSM Certification (Mandate)

·         1-2 years of recent Scrum Master experience (Mandate)

·         Experience coaching at large organizations or Fortune 500 companies

 

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Serves in a mentoring or coaching role only and is not part of the scrum or individual agile team
2. Is able to provide objective guidance, without personal or political considerations
3. Is an agile expert
4. Has experience in implementing agile techniques in different cultures and environments
5. Has successfully run agile projects previously of varying size and complexity
6. Understands quickly the Organization structure, funding models, working culture and existing impediments to form action plans to help the Organization adopt and scale agile to large programs, portfolios and ultimately the enterprise
7. Introduces agile to new teams
8. Socializes agile throughout the organization
9. Assesses and helps with problems at a team, management and executive level
10. Strengthens the presence of Cognizant as an agile center of excellence. Actively contributes to the company's Agile and Lean Community. Keep the rest of the company network aware of our activities.
11. Certifications: PMI-ACP, CSP, SPC4
12. Experience coaching at large organizations or Fortune 500 companies
13. Excellent training, coaching and mentoring skills for teams/individuals at all levels
14. Utilizes broader experiences and adoption best practices, helping the organization and multiple Scrum Teams adopt and progress towards agile maturity
15. Progresses an organization's Scrum Maturity much faster and more efficiently than someone with more limited experiences or someone who is playing solely a Scrum Master role
16. Helps multiple Scrum Teams deliver higher quality, higher value software faster, by maximizing the benefits received from Scrum
