Title : Signaling Engineer

Location : Rochester, NY

Role : Contract

Duration : 12 months





Job Description :





To ensure that all the requirements for the Subsystem level, as
defined and translated into the Subsystem Requirements Validation

Preparation specifications of the test procedures / scenarios to be
run and their execution of ATC test bed

To run the test procedure and to record the associated test reports in the RVT

Ensures that Factory testing (via various means) provides a full
coverage to guarantee a correct implementation of the ATC requirements
: functional requirements and safety requirements

ATC Integration Test. Responsible to validate the start-up tests
(post installation) for sub system interfaces





Skills Required:



Technical:



It is required at least 5 years of experience working in Railway
signaling Domain in areas such as V&V, Design or Application. Specific
experience with Carborne Control systems and CBTC solutions is highly
desired.



He needs to define, manage or execute the V-cycle activities
(Integration, Validation, Verification) throughout the whole project
life



Functional :



Rail Signaling industry, at least 5 years of experience working with
signaling in areas such as V&V, Design or Application



Operational effectiveness/Accountability

Collaboration/Teamwork

Motivating & inspiring

CBTC Signaling Solution, Train Control – mass transit

Computer programming or Scripting

Ability to make decisions/Sense of urgency



Desired candidate profile::



A candidate having close to 6 years of experience in V&V in railway
signaling areas. Key skills includes:

Knowledge of Vital Processor Interlocking products

Knowledge of Train to wayside communication

Knowledge of IEC 62290

Hardware interfacing and testing

Knowledge of serial and Ethernet communication protocol
