Our client is looking to hire an Senior Adobe CQ5 Developer for a long term contract.

In charge of writing, testing and delivering code for AEM 6.0 SP2 implementation with IBM WebSphere Commerce. Strong background in coding best practices, environment performance and request/response optimization. Designing AEM for omni-channel experience required.

  • Ability to quickly and accurately understand business requirements; plan and execute the work.
  • Solid understanding of architecture best practices for AEM 6.0, Scene 7 and other Adobe products related to content management.
  • Understating of site user experience optimization best practices.
  • Ability to synthesize analytics (via New Relic or within AEM) into actionable changes.
  • Extensive experience in workflow and component design, search (in conjunction with IBM WCS), metadata.
  • Understanding of Jenkins Integration Process.
  • Assist in testing across all testing cycles as needed; including defect resolution.
  • Proficiency in Javascipt, jQuery, Sling, CRX, JCR, OSGI-RESTful frameworks, AJAX/JSON feeds.
  • Ability to think strategically and enterprise-wide, aligning to existing guiding principles; advise on best practices across a broad spectrum.
  • Ability to work through competing business requirements; negotiate technical solutions to achieve those objectives.
  • Knowledge of Scene 7 required.
  • Understanding of e-commerce activities relating to content are needed.
  • Ability to manage development priorities; work independently as needed.
  • Comfortable in both agile and waterfall environments.
  • Ability to work with fluid legacy architectures is a plus.
  • Understanding of SharePoint is helpful.
  • Understanding of basic digital marketing and ecommerce principles is a plus.
  • Experience in Release Management is helpful.
