Job Description

•              Keys are also product APIs (REST, Web Services), SSRS, and SQL

•              Provides application software development services or technical support for new and/or existing applications.

•              Reviews system requirements and business processes and develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.

•              Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.

•              Analyzes requirements and maintains, tests and integrates application components.

•              Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.

•              Coordinates with users or Subject matter experts to determine requirements for business applications and investigates operational problems.

•              Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding, develops program logic for new and existing applications and, prepares detailed specifications from which software applications will be written.

•              Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those applications to solve a range of problems.

•              Develops solutions based on process requirements and client needs within the parameters of development policies and guidelines.

•              Works under general supervision without day-to-day direction on assignments. Uses individual initiative to recommend variances from development policies and guidelines.

•              Knowledge typically gained through 2-3 years experience in the application development field and developing knowledge of other IT areas, clients, business needs and processes.

 

Responsibilities

•              Develop enhancements, remediate defects and provide administrative support of the ITSM platform (ServiceNow).

•              Design and develop IT solutions / integrations based on product APIs (REST, Web Services, etc.)

•              Write and maintain custome reports (SSRS) and stored procedures and views (SQL).

•              Adheres to SDLC process.

•              Works closely with other team members to understand business needs.

 

Qualifications

•              Good understanding of web based technologies and scripting languages (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Python, HTML5, etc.)

•              Knowledge of relational databases, theories, principles, and practices.

•              Have strong and effective written and verbal communication skills.

•              Possess a friendly and professional demeanor and ability to excel in a team environment where transparency is the standard.
