Job Description: |
| Harley-Davidson is looking for an additional Technical Design\Engineer in the Voice\Telecomm/UC to provide additional solutions for several ongoing projects. Given how critical Telephony Infrastructure is to the delivery of other services such as Voicemail, meeting place, IVR, Contact Center, Inbound and Outbound Call Management, Fax Management, Aspect Dialer, and Call Recording/Quality Monitoring, it is critical we have the right Engineers and Designers in place to ensure success on this project. Experience in delivering multiple Enterprise-level complex telephony projects for other Fortune 500 companies is a must. The second project, related to the first, involves replacing our Metropolitan area network that will be EOL in 2016. All voice services in the Milwaukee area will need to be migrated to a new provider with minimal downtime. This project will take place simultaneous with the above larger Telephony effort, and tight coordination between both is a critical success factor for this position. The contact center upgrade is going through intake at this moment, and the project should commence this year (this will involve upgrading technologies in the contact center that are losing support from Cisco this year) |
Job Description 2:
Job Title: ACME Packet Voice Engineer
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 12+ month
MOI: Phone / Skype
Skills:
· Provide lead engineering and support on all UC infrastructure including by not limited to all session border controllers, voice gateways, voice circuits (IP or TDM), Cisco Telepresence Infrastructure
· Assess, design and document business users highly technical requirements
· Engineer, configure Unified Communications infrastructure
· Perform infrastructure system maintenances, upgrades and migrations.
· Provide tier 3/4 unified communications support
· Work with IT Management team to direct UC platform roadmap
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
· Must have 3-5 years experience administering, engineering and supporting ACME Packet session border controllers
· 3-5 years experience administering, engineering and supporting Cisco voice gateways
· 3-5 years of progressive work experience with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Real-Time Transport Protocol (RTP) including G.711 and G.729 codecs, Digital Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF), H323
· 1-3 years experience administering, engineering and supporting Cisco Unified Communications infrastructure
· 1-3 years experience administering, engineering and supporting an IP/PBX platform
· Ability to work independently and with a strong sense of system ownership.
· Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing with sensitivity to the audience and content of discussion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
· Experience with SIP Peering
· Knowledge of other gateways and VOIP protocols a plus
· CCNA/CCNP or CCNA/CCNP-Voice
