Position: QA Software Tester
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: Long Term
USC and GC Only.
Rate is $35/hr
On Site Interview Required.
Requirements:
1. Review requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases
2. Experience developing and executing test plans for responsive web applications
3. Ability to identify product defects, log issues into bug tracking system, and verify fixes
4. Self motivated with a passion for delivering high-quality software
5. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and testing on an iterative basis
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to communicate and work with both technical developers and business end-users
8. Familiarity with VersionOne software suite a plus.
9. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
Description of Duties:
Review requirements and create test plans - 35% of Total Work Effort Execute test plans against web application releases - 35% of Total Work Effort Enter defects and very fixes - 20% of Total Work Effort Enter defects and very fixes - 10% of Total Work Effort

REQUIRED: Web application testing
REQUIRED: Test plan/case development
The Software Quality Tester will:
Review existing requirements for understanding and feedback Develop test plans and cases based on requirements for web-based application Execute test plans within an Agile/Iterative environment Log defects and verify fixes.
Participate in daily stand-ups/scrum
The Software Quality Tester will report to the Director of Application Development and work within the web development team.
