Job Title:  Java Developer

Location:  ST Paul, MN

Duration: 6+months

Rate:  Market

 

Primary Skills: J-Unit, Maven, XML, XSLT

 

8 yrs of experience.

 

JD:

• Thoroughly hands-on in Java Swing – building, enhancing, maintaining complex UI applications
• Experience in working in Java based multithreaded application and very good working knowledge of managing threads, debugging threading issues.
• Thorough knowledge of Core Java – File handling, configuration, Classloaders
• Hands-on and substantial experience with J-Unit, Maven, XML, XSLT
• Good understanding of design principles and design patterns
• Good team player and good communication skills

 

• Prior medical device or healthcare experience • Oracle of Sun Java certified programmer (Good to have) Candidate will work on closely with Customer team, help offshore junior members on technical problems. He will be responsible for review of deliverables and own modules. He should be hands on expected technologies and will require to code or participate in design activities.   Preference/advantage (not must have): • Oracle of Sun Java certified programmer • Involvement in design of from the scratch application or major enhancement project • Prior medical device or healthcare experience • Linux – User level familiarity • Leadership experience of a small to medium size team will be an advantage
