Our client is need of QA test Lead for a contract Project in Watsonville,CA

Location: Watsonville,CA

Position Description:
The candidate must be able to independently work with Business Analysts to review software design and requirements documentation to understand the application functionality. The position requires Level of effort estimates, test plans, test case scripting, peer reviews, and test summary reports to ensure a successfully tested release. In addition to manual testing the candidate will also need to have knowledge and capability to create a performance test plans. The individual will test key functionality, setup and verify data, and report test results to the test and project manager. Individual will be responsible for interacting with clients on a daily basis during testing phases to ensure that release testing defects are communicated to the client and/or support UAT.
Desired Skills:
5+ years of experience with the following:
•Experience with developing a test strategy
•Developing Level of effort estimates, test plans, test case scripting and test summary reports
•Knowledge of a test management tool, to develop/save/execute functional and regression test scripts
•Experience with an automation tool for automated test scripting
•Special interest in candidates who have advanced Functional Tester and Performance Tester experience, with special focus on Java Scripting advanced automation scripts
•Web services testing experience
•Experience with writing SQL statements to acquire and verify test data
•Knowledge of various testing methodologies and software development life cycles
•Strong Communication skills
•Ability to lead reviews of requirements, test plans, scripts and test summaries
•Experience working with the client during User Acceptance Testing
•BA or BS degree is preferred, without, sufficient work experience
