Position: Solution Architect

Location: Farmington, CT

Duration: 12 Months

 

Job Description:

• JD Edwards Finance  and EP professionals design, implement and deploy JD Edwards Financials and Job cost and contract/Service billing modules.
• A professional at this position level within L&T Infotech has the following responsibilities:
• Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
• Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
• Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within L&T Infotech , which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
• Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
• Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.
• Ability to take global assignments in US and across globe.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Expert in JD Edwards Job Cost (Projects) and preferably in Finance module (GL, AP, AR, FA)
• All implementation tasks such as setup, configuration, testing, go-live activities, troubleshooting, and end user training and providing support post go live for hyper care
• Write Functional Design documents, sub-process designs, test scenarios/scripts, configuration documentation, etc.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
