Job Title: UI/UX Designer
Location: Quincy, MA 02171
Duration : 6 months(renewable)
Duties:
The ideal UI/UX candidate will collaborate with product owners/business customers and developers to design the user interface and experience that balances the users' needs with key business goals and technological capabilities.
Designer will gather requirements for the user interface and experience; create prototypes; flow diagrams; wireframes and mockups.
In this role you will design the interactive behavior, assistive capabilities and professional appearance of the website.
The website must maintain its ADA compliance.
DETAILED STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with product owners and business customers to create an intuitive and cohesive look and feel for the website.
Design the overall user experience for the new functionality on the website
Architect and perform usability sessions with key stakeholders to get feedback
Deliver wireframes, workflow diagrams, and interactive mockups
Work closely with developers to deliver prototypes
Work closely with all team members involved with the project
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of UI/UX design experience
Exceptional user interface and experience design skills
Keen understanding of user-centered design disciplines and strong eye for design and detail
Looking for a self-starter who can jump in quickly and learn by asking the right questions
Knowledge of HTML5 required and experience with ASP.NET is desired, but not required
Ability to quickly grasp and distill complex user design issues into clear, understandable solutions
Strong communication (written and oral) and organizational skills
Possess and show a recent portfolio of UI and UX
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Interacts well with business users/technical team/project managers/senior management/vendors
Has a history of successful customer relationship and satisfaction experience
Is client-focused
Experience working in an Agile framework
