Position : Sr Dev Ops - Open Platform

Location : Birmingham AL position – URGENT REQUEST

Duration : 6 months contract – extendable

Rate: $50

 

Team expansion

·         Software Engineering Degree or similar

·         3-5+ years of experience

·         Strong engineer and coder with experience using languages like Shell scripting, JAVA/Scala, Ruby

·         Proficiency with Public Cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS) like AWS (preferred), OpenStack, GCE, etc.

·         "NetEng" operations — zoning in public/private clouds

·         Configuration and Release management tools like Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven etc.

·         Monitoring tools like Nagios, Munin, Zenoss, etc.

·         Excellent communication, presentation and collaborative problem-solving skills

·         Great team player who has a strong desire to change the way people use their services and data and have a huge impact on a small team

Bonus:

·         Experience with Relational stores (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)

·         Experience with NoSQL stores (Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Kafka, etc.)
