We are seeking a Sr. MicroStrategy Consultant (must have experience with SQL Development in addition to MSTR Reporting Services) to work on one of our BI projects in a remote/onsite needed basis.
Keys to winning: Strong MSTR Development, Dashboarding, and experience working with SalesForce/MSTR.
Job Description:
The Sr. MicroStrategy Consultant must analyze, document, and promote standards and patterns that represent the established reporting, analysis, and deep analytics architectural goals.
This role requires extremely strong communication and business solution problem solving skills leveraging MicroStrategy. The role is "client forward facing," with Business Leaders including Finance and Information Technology.
Sr. MicroStrategy Consultant Job Requirements:
• 5+ years of MicroStrategy experience required. Must have some experience working with MSTR v10.
• Experience leveraging MicroStrategy with SalesForce reporting/dashboarding preferred.
• Strong MicroStrategy Reporting and Dashboarding skills required.
• Strong MS SQL TSQL and Querying Skills (20122014) preferred.
• Assist in designing and developing project architectures within MicroStrategy as needed
• Strong experience working in a MS SQL Server environment.
Sr. MicroStrategy Consultant Job Responsibilities:
• Assist and make recommendations in gathering requirements from the Business Stakeholders to develop dashboards, static reports, prompted reports, and mobile applications in MicroStrategy;
• Add Data Warehouse tables to MicroStrategy projects ;
• Create attributes and metrics, along with the developing and supporting schemas to fulfill the reporting g requirements of business stakeholder;
• Create and implement project, report, and metric level security using established Active Directory groups;
• Assist in user training of the MicroStrategy platform, reports, dashboards, and mobile applications;
• Create static reports and required distribution in MicroStrategy ;
• Create prompted report templates for select subject areas, enabling users to save reports as personal views in MicroStrategy;
• Create dashboards and all required supporting datasets (data cubes, data marts, etc) necessary in delivering business stakeholder requirements
• Create MicroStrategy mobile application s (dashboard/reports) and required supporti ng datasets based upon business stakeholder requirements;
• Create transaction services MicroStrategy mobile applications (customer survey/feedback related applications; and
• Assist current data analyst in developing a strong knowledge base of the MicroStrategy implementation.
