Job Title – Senior VB.NET Consultant

Location – Atlanta, GA

Duration – 1 Year

 

Local Preferred

Face to Face Interview

 

Experience with VB.NET windows client development is preferred.

•  
• Create object oriented code (VB.NET (Framework) required or C# code is a plus), according to the requests.
• MS SQL 2012+ experience (stored procedures, table management, TSQL, etc) is preferred.
• Understand how the database modeling techniques relate to each other.
• Experience in implementing applications using relational databases.
• Knowledge of Microsoft ASP.NET is preferred.
• Ability to develop or modify moderately complex software in a Microsoft Windows environment is required.
• Passion for clean, readable code.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL Oracle is a plus.
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports is a plus.

Professional Skills

• Develop and maintain the old and the new VB.NET environments.
• Technically and methodically approach the problem for diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Create a detailed design specific for the application components according to the requirements.
• Must have good analytical skills.
• Ensure appropriate documentation for all development and modification.
• Detail oriented and an organized person.
• Writing documentation with functional and technical content.
• Following and adding to the programming standards.
• Working close with the business clients in order to understand their needs.
• Knowledge of the environmental regulatory industry is a plus.
