Position:QA Automation Engineer
Duration: 6+Months
Location : Charlotte,NC
Position Responsibilities:
At least 8-9 years of experience in handling automation projects. At least 4 plus years of QTP/UFT tool expertise.
Must have designed automation framework – analyzing the framework, preparing assessment report, presenting observations and recommendations
Must have handled automation projects from scratch
Identifying the best suited tool for automation
Identifying/analyzing the scenarios/functionalities for automation
Forming the team
Designing the automation structure
Selecting the framework
Implementing the framework
Technically assisting the team during coding, reporting and managing
Must be a quick learner and possess a great affinity to learn new tools and explore technical options/workarounds when stuck with technical limitations
Must possess data base skills like the ability to understand and write SQL statements.
Experience with source control is a plus.
Knowledge on other automation tools like Selenium, rational suite, etc., is a big plus
Excellent communication skills is required. Must be able to talk to business and application team managers to expand the automation footprint.
Must have worked in onsite-offshore model and handled offshore deliveries.
