What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)
Coordinate PI (Product Increment) planning with key stake holders
Track all client implementations to understand client commitments made to on-going product releases.
Collaborate with matrix teams to plan/track and execute scrum activities (sprint, release, PI planning)
Identify & track any external dependencies and help remove blockers proactively.
Develop and manage Project plans representing all activities required for project success
Understand project/program escalations paths and proactively & effectively log/track/communicate Issues (escalate) ,Risks (mitigate),Assumptions (clarify),Actions (track to closure),Decisions(help arrive to & communicate)
Plan & track the budget @ resource level on a bi-weekly basis and address any issues proactively.
Report status of product both from product development perspective as well as client implementations perspective.
Setting and running effective recurring status meetings with the product, portfolio & delivery managers. Efficient in fielding questions from the product, portfolio teams, as well as track any issues to resolution.
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
Able to manage in fast paced environments with evolving teams & fluid R&R structures and get best possible outcomes.
Ability to build relationships across Product, Portfolio, IT, finance teams both at working and leadership level to influence positive outcomes in resolving bottlenecks / constraints.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (multi-tasking).
Takes initiative to collaborate & proactively help resolve issues and comes up with action plans, than a news reporter.
What skills/attributes are a must have?
7+ years of SDLC project management experience in large enterprise setting
2+ Experience in Agile project implementations as well as Product Lifecycle Management
Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
Prior experience managing Cloud or Web/Mobile/Portal projects
PMP Certification
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership
Strong budget management skills
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project and MS Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects
What skills/attributes are nice to have?
CSM Certification or equivalent
Experience using Rally for tracking Scrum development
Experience with SDLC/RSA documentation and development, delivery of standard artifacts
Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio
Experience in using Plan view, Clarity
