Job Description
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
• Build Network Cloud based on Redhat open stack/ open source open stack • Open stack Deployment Architecture for a private network cloud in cascading and distributed mode • Managing the Network - Operating model for large scale Network and cloud infrastructure. • Tools for operating, scaling and monitoring the cloud - Monasca, ansible • Hardware recommendations • Federated open stack cloud across different data center • Design and implement high throughput architecture as it is Network Intensive - SRIOV, DPDK & NUMA pinning • Deploying Network Applications in cloud • L2 Protocols (Ethernet in particular, focus on Carrier Grade), L3 Protocols (IP in particular) • Storage Requirement - It is not storage intensive • Generate core and CPE configurations – EDI, EPL, PRI, EVPL & ENS – on Cisco, Juniper & Ciena platforms • Experience in provisioning and troubleshooting Cisco Routers (7200-12000 series), Juniper Routers (M and E series), Ethernet Switches (Cisco ASR9000, 3600, 6500) • MPLS (Multi-Protocol Labelled Switching), PWE3 (Pseudo wire Emulation), SNCs (Sub Network Connections), APS (Automatic Protection Switching), VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), VRF (Virtual Route Forwarding), BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) and RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol) • Parts of a NE switches and routers – Rack, shelf, slot, card, port, SFP/XFP, etc. • EMS/ NMS concepts (from an architecture point of view, and what are the options for them to communicate with Devices) • SNMP
