Role: Pivotal GemFire Consultant
Duration: Long Term
Location: Raritan, NJ

Max Rate: $60/hr on C2C
Looking for Pivotal GemFire IMDB consultant for joining a big-data pilot and roll-out projects.
Responsibilities:
- Install, set-up and configure large-scale data grids
- Deploy clusters of GEM Servers
- Set-up Query interface over the virtual grids
- Provide query support to UI/Reporting developers
- Performance tuning of distributed in-memory storage systems
Required Skills:
- GemFire 8.0 or higher skills
- Application development experience using JAVA/JDBC/Spring/Hibernate
- Reporting and Data Visualization tools such as QlikView or Tableau
- Experience working with Apache GEODE
- Must have worked on large-scale storage systems
- ANSI SQL Development and tuning experience
- Exposure to document (object) based databases and NoSQL queries
- Prior experience with any other in-memory appliances
- Strong integration experience with Pivotal HD, CDH4 and HDFS
- ETL loading via Map-Reduce and/or third party big-data tools
- VMWare tools
- RedHat/CentOS/SLES Experience
- Experience in Storage planning and estimation
