Requirement for System Engineer(Windows/VMware/Linux) in Renton, WA : JOB ID :

Hi,

Position Title : System Engineer(Windows/Vmware/Linux)

Locations: Renton, WA

Duration: 6-12 Months +


Role & Responsibility :

  • Experience of administering a multi-domain Windows/Linux and VMware server environment.
  • Good Communication Skills and knowledge of IT Service Management processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Clustering, Citrix, Web Services, VDI & VMWare would be preferred.

VMware Skill:

  • Good Understanding of virtualization technology.
  • Experience on VMware ESX 3.0, 3.5 and on V sphere would be preferable.
  • Experience in P2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center.
  • Good hands on command line of ESX.
  • Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.
  • Good understanding of HA and DRS environment.
  • Experience in performance tuning of VMware servers and Virtual sessions and management of servers resources between virtual machines.
  • Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual machines and virtual servers. WINDOWS/LINUX
  • Handling/ Setting/Configuring Servers.
  • Administration and Troubleshooting of Windows/Linux servers, DHCP, DNS, IIS, ISA, Antivirus.
  • Implementation, administration of Active Directory and Group Policies.
  • Knowledge and Experience in VDI Environment
  • Knowledge in Thin Client Technology
  • Knowledge/Experience in Citrix environment

WINDOWS/LINUX Skills :

  • Handling/ Setting/Configuring Servers.
  • Administration and Troubleshooting of Windows/Linux servers, DHCP, DNS, IIS, ISA, Antivirus.
  • Implementation, administration of Active Directory and Group Policies.
  • Knowledge on Puppet/Chef, Jenkins, software Build Management is a plus.
