Job Title : Java Developer
Location : Roanoke, VA(Need Local)
Duration : 6+Months Contract
Face to Face Interview
Description:
There will also be development of new Java applications and services. Technical Design documents will be used to outline the changes needed.
These documents will be updated as part of the build process.
The Java developer will be responsible for updating Design documents, developing code, assisting with test scenario documentation, unit testing, following Advance Auto Parts Java development standards, producing production support documentation, assist with QA testing process, correct defects found, support deployment, and support during warranty.
The Java developer will need to estimate expected delivery of assigned work.
The Java developer will need to status on progress of work in a weekly scorecard meeting as well as maintain scorecard status. Assigned work will be reviewed and approved for QA based on standards and requirements being met. Assigned work will be approved for production when the changes are defect free or accepted by business approval.
Minimum Skill Set Requirements:
Java
Oracle Database knowledge
Preferred / Ideal Skill Set Requirements:
Java integration with MQ Broker
PLSQL experienced
Websphere
