Position       :  Backend Java Developer

Location      :  Englewood, CO

Duration     :  12+ Months

Interview   :  Phone then Face to Face

Needs to be able to work from downtown location, however initial period could be at Mineral location.

Job Description

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field, preferably with a Masters.

·         3+ years' experience designing and developing object oriented applications in Java for web services or API micro services.

 

Job Responsiblities

·         The qualified candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment using Agile practices and be a self-starter.

·         This person will design and develop new applications primarily in Java using XML, web & bus services, integrated with services from Oracle DBMS & Weblogic/OCCAS, Tibco, and other 3rd parties.

·         This is a highly distributed services oriented architecture (SOA), that also exposes API's to third parties.

·         The person will interface frequently with product owners, architects and analysts to deliver solutions.

 

Job Requirement

·         Experience with several of the following: Weblogic/OCCAS, Tibco Bus, iBatis, Spring framework, Eclipse, Jakarta Apache commons, REST/SOAP Web services, Corba, Ajax, Oracle, Android, webRTC, HTML5, websockets, SOA, XML, API development.

·         Experience working in a product R&D environment evolving complex architectures and innovative services, ideally using Agile/Lean practices.
