Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use. Serve as technical expert on development projects. Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Support, maintain, and document
Position: Software Engineer - End-to-End Engineering
Location: Sunnyvale, CA


You will be responsible for:

System-level continuous integration
Collaborate with product managers to define system-level acceptance criteria
Assist component teams in defining inter-component interfaces
Run system-level integration scripts and integrate manually where automation is not possible
Cross track coordination of development, integration and testing activities
Release rollout and launch strategy, including the sequencing and optimization for production launch of all components
End-to-end testing
Participate in release planning and backlog refinement to define integration and testing stories
Create automated test scenarios
Perform manual testing and run automated tests for new features and stories
Prioritize time-consuming tests, refactor and run reduced test suites where applicable
Building and maintaining common development infrastructure
Create automation frameworks and environments for system testing and user testing
Create systems, utilities and scripts to automate end-to-end monitoring (system and business level)
Be an expert on developer productivity tools and services. Where necessary, create and maintain infrastructure including continuous integration, automated build verification testing

Job Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in software development using Linux, Java, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, Tomcat, Hibernate, Spring, Oracle (or other RDBMS)
Hands-on experience in enterprise system integration, end-to-end testing and quality large complex systems
Ability to understanding system architecture, end-to-end design and interfaces; of complex features and manage their dependencies
Excellent communication skills, and able to work well under extremely fast paced and entrepreneurial environments
Independent self-starter who is highly focused and results oriented
Mobile app development experience a plus
Agile project management experience a plus
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
BSCS degree or equivalent required, MSCS a plus
