Job Title: Linux Developer
Location: RTP, NC
Duration: 6+ months
Job Description:
Experience (Years) : 6-8 years
Essential Skills :
• Linux skills – ability to navigate directories, interrogate files, move files
• Clinical data management experience
– Familiarity with clinical reporting efforts
• SAS Programming experience – exposure only, but needs to have experience working with SAS files (e.g. interrogating SAS7bdata, and XPT files)
Role Description:
• Pharmaceuticals IT experience
• Data Migration
• Data Preparation o Maintenance on existing, or creation of new, scripts to facilitate interrogation of data o Assisting in activities to close gaps in data (e.g. moving data, adjusting fields) o Assisting in assembly /rationalizing list of data to be migrated (possible staging of data)
• Development of scripts necessary to facilitate migrations (e.g. Export of data to XML manifest file packages)
• Assist in validation of migration - preparing and executing migrations to test and pre-production environments to support migration testing and UAT • Assist with final production migration.
