Position Title:       Software Engineer – Matlab/Simulink

Location:                Saginaw, MI

Duration:                6 months+

 

Job Requirements:

•           Minimum of 3 years experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers.

•           Deep understanding of microcontroller peripherals, their use and configuration options.

•           Ability to read and understand embedded software (C and assembly language)

•           Matlab/Simulink modeling

•           Understanding of basic electrical circuit design and debug.

•           Ability to use typical electrical bench equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, etc)

•           Ability to create software algorithm designs (state machines, flow diagrams, etc)

•           Working knowledge of CAN serial communications, including vehicle messaging and diagnostic service implementations.

•           Ability to create, read and understand models developed in Simulink.

•           Excellent communication and documentation skills

•           Excellent debug / troubleshooting skills

•           Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Visio, etc)

•           Support meetings / presentations internally and with customers to discuss electrical designs and diagnostic implementations.
