Salesforce Lead/Architect
Location: Bloomington ILThis PAR is for an external SalesForce (SFDC) Developer that also has Java development experience. Competencies Desired: Adaptability Critical Thinking Initiative Teamwork Technical/Functional Expertise Team members are responsible for the development and advancement of internal facing (company) business applications on the Salesforce platform. Successful candidates demonstrate exceptional strong decision-making skills, possess high initiative, extremely well organized, good interpersonal, and a commitment to quality. Skills/Professional Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent * Experience with Java * Experience with APEX (Salesforce) coding language * Experience with Spring Framework * Object oriented design and design patterns experience * Understanding of Source Control and Dependency Management tools * Experience with JavaServer Pages (JSP) * Experience taking a software application from inception, development, and to implementation * Experience with Data Design best practices and exposure to common ETL (extract, transform, load) data operations in support of development * Experience or knowledge of Agile Development practices * Commitment to software practices of Continuous Integration, automated/repeatable testing, and collaborative work environments * Commitment to incorporating quality software practices into all phases of the project life lifecycle * Commitment to utilizing Open Source in the construction of the software solution * Commitment to working in small highly competent teams Additional Helpful Skills that are a plus: *Experience Host development background *Experience with SQL and DB2 *Strong problem solving skills.
