Job Description

 

duration: 6 months

location: Evanston, IL

interview: phone and then Skype or FACE TO FACE if local

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate focus, impeccable team skills, and be comfortable working on multiple projects concurrently. The candidate will have the ability to execute projects with efficiency. He or she will have a positive spirit and the ability to thrive in a performance-driven and fast-paced work environment. A four-year CS degree is desirable, but we prioritize hands-on field experience.

The position requires experience with following:

·       JavaScript


·       Angular.js (or equivalent frameworks such as Ember.js, React.js, etc)


·       Express/Node.js


·       RESTful Web Services


·       MySQL


·       MongoDB (Or other NoSQL experience)


·       Bootstrap / Responsive design patterns


·       Git / SVN

·       Jenkins

·       Amazon EC2

·       Linux

 

 

Other valuable experience:

·       Digital audio and video editing and encoding

·       Java or PHP coding work experience

·       NoSQL (MongoDB or other)

·       Light graphical / front end web work

·       Light network administration
