6 Months Contract
Minimum Requirements:
• Experience: 5+ years Python
• Must be able to take a problem/business requirements and convert to technical requirements and documentation.
• Very strong python programming skills, considered an expert by peers
• Experience writing python code that responds to external events (such as runs when a file is uploaded to a folder)
• Must be capable of discussing solution and identifying pros/cons of approach clearly.
• Capable of performance profiling and optimization
• Capable of building tests to verify system is working as expected.
• Capable of planning work in advance and managing time well, identifying if on/ahead/behind schedule clearly and correcting as needed.
• Comfortable coding on Linux platforms, ideally familiar with linux shell scripting and basic linux environment features/operation.
Job:
Work with the business to document the coding requirements
Write python code to encrypt files
Write python code to handle processing files that arrive in batches (identify newly arrived files, files being processed, result files awaiting to be sent out, and manage through a sequence of steps).
Test and debug code
