Job Title: DataStage Developer
Location: Rhode Island
Duration : 6+ Months
Experience:
Preferred six years of experience with ETL tool development; Recent experience with 7.5 DataStage and above.
Preferred six years of experience working with database applications development.
Preferred five years of experience developing in SQL including table modeling, SQL queries, SQL view
Preferred with ETL job administration and orchestration
Experience working with data integration and data standards.
Prefer experience in Financial domain
Equivalent Education and/or Experience
May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.
Skills or Special Abilities:
Must be able to demonstrate an expert level knowledge of ETL development and ETL job administration.
Must be able to demonstrate expertise in the area of specialty's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Must be able to demonstrate a track record working with internal/external users in order to determine needs and design solutions.
Must have excellent communication skills, for both verbal and written communication with peers, senior personnel, and external contacts.
Must be able to demonstrate exceptional critical thinking skills, with regard to software design issues.
Must demonstrate an understanding of clinical data and the use of this data in a healthcare environment, as applicable.
Must demonstrate the ability to develop complex software products.
Must have knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and data management software.
Must have an expert level knowledge of software developer tools, and documentation tools such as Visio
