Position : Engineer- Automation
Location : Oregon, Hillsboro (OR)
Duration : 3-6 Months
Visa : Citizen or GC only
Job Requirement & Technical Skills Required:
· Write test software and maintain test hardware for new consumer Phone and PC Tablet type products
· Integrate product tests into a production test environment
· Review schematics and specifications for hardware and software requirements
· Troubleshoot software and hardware to root cause product and test related issues
· Develop and write test plans.
· Conduct test plan reviews.
· Present out status and solutions to peers and management
· Work well in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment Meet challenging goals in a timely manner
· Function well in a virtual team environment, yet be successful working in a self-directed work environment
· Global travel as needed
Qualifications :
· Minimum of Bachelor's degree in CS; CE or EE with 3+ years industry experience or 5 years of equivalent experience.
· Experience in the high-tech industry related to testing of phone/tablet/compute type circuit board and system assemblies.
· ODM/OEM experience a plus.
· C/C++ programming, Python, Perl or other scripting language experience.
· Linux, Android, Windows application and device driver programming experience a plus.
· NI Test Stand experience a plus.
· Experience in developing software, including software design, validation, coding and debug.
· Practical experience writing program interfaces to test hardware and instrumentation.
· Examples are USB, TCPIP, COM ports, GPIB devices, RF spectrum analysers, test fixtures, power supplies,etc.
· Ability to read circuit schematics.
· Camera, Audio and RF experience using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS all a plus
