Position Description:
Client is seeking a Designer/System Analyst for the Healthcare (Behavioral) platform. Leads design recommendations and strategy decisions while providing the highest level of technical expertise for all phases of application development. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective application programming solution.
Required Skills:
• Involved in the analysis, design, development and implementation of software applications
• Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
• Determines user requirements, leads application design, plans projects, establishes priorities and monitors progress.
• Understands the Technical architecture of the Systems assigned and helps make decisions about the feasibility of various options
• Develops, analyzes, specifies, validates, and documents, Tier 1 & Tier 2 Estimates, and system design documents.
• May code new or modified programs, reuse existing code through the use of program development software alternatives and/or integrates purchased solutions.
Lead design decisions to ensure best practices while managing enterprise expectations.
• Provide governance and oversight of development resources to ensure solution meets design requirements.
• Ensure all design artifacts are maintained across multiple implementations
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with Healthcare processing/systems
• Hands on technical expertise in Unidata and UniBasic
• Basic understanding of Unix and/or Linux
• Hands on technical expertise with uploading and downloading various file types between Unidata and other systems
• Ability to successfully work within multiple requirements, design, and development approaches and methodologies (agile, waterfall, etc.)
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a Global teams (Onsite-Offshore)
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
• Any prior experience in Unidata Migration is advantage
• Self-motivated
• Self-learner
