Essential Job Functions :
1. Customer is working on a mobile version of dashboards based on html5 and client-side javascript libraries.
2. Some prototyping has been done using jquery mobile, but they would like an expert who is familiar with all the currently available javascript toolkits to help them to reach a decision on which library or libraries would best fit their specific UI requirements.
3. Need to develop some foundational user-interface code which they would integrate into the application.
4. Provide front end solutions dealing with jQuery
5. Assists in defining web app architectures - Collaborates with project teams to explore existing systems, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learns the applications capabilities
6. Translates designs and style guides provided by the UI/UX team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance
Required Skills :
1. Rich knowledge on front end web application development using jQuery (modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks)
2. Highly skilled at front-end engineering using jQuery
3. Strong customer service skills
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Flexibility to adapt and inculcate industry best practices as mandated by customer and TCS management.
2. Communicates continually with the client and project teams - Explains progress on the development effort
3. Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies
