Description: AS400 Developer
Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 9 months
Rate: $45/hr. all inclusive
• Provide integration guidance for client merger activities using Web Services with the current AS400 Order Mgmt system.
• Provide functional analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation for new systems or enhancement to existing systems.
• Support and provide troubleshooting for and resolution of system problems
• Work effectively with account programmer analysts
• Provide feedback to IT and business management of issues and progress.
• Provides guidance to other team members relating to areas across the application
• Provides design specification for application projects
• Ensures compliance with IT processes and standards to achieve quality deliverables
• Demonstrates conceptual understanding of business processes and procedures
• Location requirement: needs to be on client site in Wilmington, MA
• 5-7 years solid AS/400 (iSeries) development experience. (RPG,RPGLE, ILE, CL)
• 2-3 years Expertise in web services on the AS 400
• Experience with SOA Architecture
• Experience with Middleware, MQ, Web Methods, ESB is required.
• Experience in SEQUEL is required
• Experience with Aplus (MAX) application is desirable.
• Experience with IMS 21 is desirable
• Experience with Hawkeye is desirable
• Experience with change management software helpful – Implementer Preferred
Others
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Enterprise Software for Distribution/Manufacturing Industry preferred
• Strong skills in structured design preferred
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment
