Job Title : Sr. Network Engineer
Location : Harrisburg, PA
Duration : 3-6 months with extensions
Job Description:-
This Network Engineer will be responsible for performing highly technical network software and hardware configurations. Also the engineer will make new configurations prior to implementation, and interact with engineering and support teams during project turnover to ensure adherence to standards compliance. The engineer will finally collaborate with clients (internal/external), implementation and operations personnel. All interested candidates should submit resume as well references at time of submission along with brief summary on how their experience relates to the position applied for.
Required Skills:-
Minimum 5-10 years documented experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting complex large-scale enterprise networks
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science
Expert knowledge of class Cisco Routers and layer 2/3 Switches, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls, NAT, Spanning Tree, Multicast, MPLS, Frame Relay, QOS and TCP/IP routing including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP a must
At least 5 years of documented experience and knowledge of Ethernet, LAN and WAN topologies, WiFi, WAP, hubs, , IPSec, DHCP, DNS, WINS, SNMP, network monitors and protocol analyzers
Extensive experience with Cisco IP Telephony, Native IOS and current routing/switching hardware platforms
CCNA, CCIE or on track for certification
Proven problem solving capabilities, technically savvy, and strategic thinker
Ability to assess client situations, identify needs and develop recommendations and solutions
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present concepts and recommendations
