Title: Front - End .Net Developer with C#
Location : San Jose CA
Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $DOE

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

Strong working experience in .Net C# Console Applications.
In-depth understanding of multi-threading and concurrency.
Extensive knowledge in integration of systems in various technologies like SQL DB, Teradata, Web Services, Filers, OCR Tools, Language Translation systems, etc.
Experience in handling and gathering large number of records.
Exposed to large data processing, developing robust applications to handle failures seamlessly and recovering fast.
Worked in handling/encryption of secure data.  Strong inclination to protect user data.
Experience in complete PDLC and agile development methodologies.
Experience developing complex software systems with C# and strong OOD/OOP skills and applying modern design patterns.
Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
Understanding of database design, programming, Object Oriented design principles, software design patterns
Highly skilled in SQL and query tuning.
Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential
Independent and take ownership of applications.

Desired qualifications/skills:

Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
Working knowledge of relevant technologies, tools, and middleware, including development technologies and scripting languages  (e.g. C#, Entity Framework, WCF, Identity Framework, SQL, JQuery, .Net, ASP.Net, SQL Server, stored procedures, HTML/XML/XSL, HTML 5.0, ODBC, ADO, etc.)
Extensive experience building WCF web services and clients.
Demonstrated experience with unit testing using NUnit, VSTest or similar testing.
Working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript/jQuery.
Familiar with TFS, GIT, or Source repositories
