Position: Networking/Virtualization Test Engineer(2 Positions)
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration : 3 Months+
Summary:
My client is looking for (2) very skilled Test Engineers with strong skills in Networking, Virtualization, and Automation to test their DevOps environment before the release. You will be required to write the TestPlan, Test Strategy, Test cases and automate the test scripts as well.
RequiredSkills:
* knowledge of Hypervisors, preferable ESXi and KVM and corresponding emulators and applications such as vCenter, livbirtd, and Emu
* Knowledge of VLAN, VXLAN, Bridging, switching
* MPLS or GRE or OTV would be a plus
* Must be able to write scripts to automate testing, mostly in Python
* Routing protocols like BGP , understanding of any other routing protocol couldbe accepted if not BGP
* Experience writing Test Plans, Test Strategies and Test Cases
* Hand-on knowledge of Cisco devices like ASR9k/N5k/N7k would be a plus
* Knowledge of SDN Controllers or Openflow would be a plus
