Position: .NET/C# Developer
Location: Addison, TX
Interview: One In person interview only. No phone interview. (Local or from near by location f2f interview)
Rate: $50/hr corp to corp (max)
Duration: 6+ months
Middle Tier Developer
Exciting fast growing company is hiring contractors for a 6+ month project. Work will be on a rotation schedule: 1 week at corporate in Addison and then 2 weeks remote, working from home, then repeat again. Client is updating all web apps.
Job Description:
The Middle Tier Software Engineer will be focused on designing, developing, and delivering Client's internal software solutions. The Software Engineer will deliver software solutions using the Agile methodology. The ideal candidate will be business-focused and possess a strong technical aptitude. Successful candidates have deep and broad technical skills in MVC, C#/.NET and related MS technologies/ products as well as solid SQL development skills. A Software Engineer must work as a member of a self-organizing, cross functional team, require minimal supervision, and have a strong and consistent track record of delivering software.
Duties to include:
• Develop Solutions – C#, ASP.Net, REST Services,MVC
• Build SQL Stored Procedures and Functions
• Create and maintain technical documentation – Design Specifications, Operation Manuals and Release Notes
• Adhere to and support Agile/Scrum software delivery process – follow procedures for proper work flow, collaborate with Product, Quality Assurance, and Implementation teams to deliver high quality results
• Knowledge of Sitecore is a plus
Requirements:
• Strong MVC experience version 3 or higher
• Minimum of three years of hands-on software development
• Within the Microsoft toolset, C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server – Stored Procedures and DB Design
• Using Agile/Scrum methodology – self organizing, cross functional teams, consuming user stories
• One year of experience with Microsoft WCF Services, REST Services
• Javascript, or experience with Foundation (similar to Bootstrap) a plus
